- Applicable for UVS Manager 2.14.17+
- Prepare a CentOS 7 environment, here I'm using CentOS 7.8.2003.
A. Ceph RBD & iSCSI settings
Go to UVS Manager WebUI
1. Create RBD images for iSCSI LUNs
1-1. Select the menu "CEPH" -> "Pools". Create a pool "rbd".
1-2. Select the menu "CEPH" -> "Images" Create an image "iscsi001". You could set the "object size" to "1MiB" for getting better performance.
2. Create iSCSI LUNs using RBD Images
Select the menu "Storage" -> "iSCSI"
2-1. Press "Manage External Gateway" and create the gateways one-by-one.
Because I added two external gateway servers. I got the following iSCSI list.
2.2 Press "Create iSCSI LUN", select RBD image, and create the LUNs one-by-one.
Because I had two external gateway servers. I got the following list and they are the same LUN.
B. Try to attach the iSCSI LUNs
1. On windows
1-1. Use the "iscsi initiator" to discover the external gateway IP and attach the LUNs.
