Mars400 Switch

Enter the switch console from BMC. (Mars400 Poweron)

Enter command >>>console

Choice >>>a or Choice >>>b

"a" switch is the switch on the right side when you look at the Mars 400 rear panel. "b" switch is the left one.

Show node & switch links.

Console# show interfaces status all

Console# show interfaces status port-channel 1

Hint: Press Ctrl + x to exit console mode

Case 0: No network cable is plugged into the switch.

Port 0 ~ 25 are down.

No port-channel information.

Case 1: Only one 10Gbps uplink port is connected to an external 10Gbps switch.

Port 0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 25 are up.

Port-channel shows port 26 or port 27.

Case 2: Both 10Gbps uplink ports are connected to an external 10Gbps switch.

Port 0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 25 are up.

Port-channel shows port 26 and port 27.

Use Control-X to exit switch console and repeat the same check on the other switch.
