This release updates the Ceph version from 16.2.5 to 16.2.10 and changes the OS from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 20.04.5. This update also changed OS storage to use the M.2 SSD and moved the OSD bluestore DB and WAL to the OSD data disk to make the system more stable.

We recommend all users update your Mars 400 to this version if you are using an older version of 2.16.19.

Users can only upgrade the cluster with the UVS version from version 2.16.19.06. Versions older than 2.16.19-06 shall upgrade to 2.16.19-06 before you can upgrade to version 2.16.20.

The UVS v2.16.20 update will update the OS and ceph. Therefore, the nodes will reboot during the update. There will not have ceph service downtime during the upgrade.

We recommend you book the time for the Ambedded support engineer to update the UVS software.
